cheap football jerseys Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offload Jack Clarke, who is expected to undergo a medical for his next club.
Clarke signed for Spurs from Leeds in 2019 for around £10m. He progressed with West Yorkshire before amassing 25 senior caps. He was taken out on loan again for the 2019/20 season, but that’s where things started to go wrong.
Despite featuring quite often last year, there was little room for Clarke at Leeds. He played just once in the Championship and twice in the Carabao Cup before his loan was cut short.
Clarke has since been loaned out to QPR (until the end of this season) and Stoke City (for the second half of the 2020-21 season).
His time at QPR was similarly difficult, as he made only seven appearances, but things went slightly better at Stoke, where he played 14 times before the injury.
The 21-year-old has been back with Tottenham since the summer, although he has yet to play in the Premier League. His only appearance this season came as a substitute in a European Conference League match against Pacos Ferreira in August.
Clarke, who still plays for Tottenham at under-23 level, is now ready to leave the club for a new experience. This time he will have to drop another rung.
According to Football Insider, Sunderland have agreed to take Clarke on loan to League One.
They started talks on Monday and quickly reached an agreement. A medical is scheduled for Clark on Wednesday morning.
